Description

Greetings, Collectors!

We’re pleased to present our Winter, 2006 auction of Hollywood memorabilia, featuring some of the finest and most diverse collectibles we’ve ever assembled in one blockbuster auction of nearly 1,000 lots! Our extensive offering of vintage props and costumes is the largest selection we’ve featured in years, and is crowned by the magnificent Cowardly Lion costume worn by Bert Lahr in the timeless MGM film, The Wizard of Oz.

From Rock ‘n Roll, we have probably one of the most important pieces of Elvis Presley artifacts ever offered – his diamond and platinum wedding ring from his sensational marriage to Priscilla in 1967 at the Aladdin Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Elvis personally designed this special ring to incorporate an eight-diamond theme, which he selected as “8” was his favorite number.

A large part of the auction will again be dedicated to the pristine film posters of the Court Theater Collection, an exciting discovery of vintage one-sheets and window cards that recently surfaced in California’s central valley. A family run theater, these posters were kept by the owners after being displayed once in the theater’s lobby, then returned to their original envelopes and safely stored for over 50 years.

We hope you'll find something wonderful in this latest offering! Please remember that we’re always interested in your future consignments, for those that wish to pass ownership of their treasured pieces of Hollywood memorabilia on to new caretakers.

Thank you for participating, and good luck!
