This very nice collection of Matchbox Regular Wheels and Superfast has been collected over a period of approx 30 years. there are approximately 800 items which will be sold over the next 3-4 weeks in two auction dates. In this 1st auction on 30th April 2008, we will feature Regular Wheels. There are some rare models in the sale, such as 12 the Land Rover Safari in gold and the Cement Mixer 26B with the dark grey barrel and many more. There are original printing plates that were rescued when the printing works in Trafford Park was being demolished, one of the rarest plates is that of No 80, the Volkswagon Beetle, before the production of the model the director's of the company, the late Leslie Smith and Jack Odell decided to limit the range of numbers from 1-75 so the Volkswagon Beetle was re-numbered 25B.Also rescued from the demolition of the printing works were a number of boxes which were never glued or folded. In the Regular Wheel section we have included some Kingsize and other Lesney such as a small number of Yesteryear models. In the Superfast section which will be held on 21st May 2008, there will be more than 400 lots, including some very rare models, such as the 12 Land Rover Safari in blue and 75 the Ferrari Berlinetta in green plus many more. We have used codes from the Charlie Mack book volume 1 to identify the Superfast models. We hope you enjoy this sale!

Start Time
As this is a live auction and will take place in either Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) or British summer Time (BST), Ebay's time remaining stamp will not be an accurate reflection of the actual time the lot will be auctioned.

Grading System
Mint The item is in near perfect condition
Near Mint Almost perfect. Any imperfections will be extremely minor
Excellent The item will have had careful use, with only small imperfections
Fair The item will have heavy signs of wear, showing major imperfections & may include repaints.
Poor The item will be in a very distressed condition with many faults

Plus may be used if an item is better than its classification suggests

Conditions of Sale

The buyer will be the highest bidder known to the Auctioneer at the fall of the hammer. Any dispute will be settled by the auctioneer whose decision will be final.

All bids received by Ebay are also in competition with proxy bids left via the Mintinbox website, catalogue etc. These will be shown as Auction Floor Bidders.

Purchasers will be charged a premium of 15% on the hammer price.
If payment is to be made by cheque and the cheque exceeds the cheque card guarantee limit, then goods can only be collected on the day of the sale if the buyer is known to us, or if prior arrangements have been made. We reserve the right to hold goods until a cheque is cleared. Lots can be paid for by credit card or debit card through Paypal. Alternatively, you can send a cheque in GPB sterling, that can be drawn on a UK based bank.

Commission bids will be executed at no extra charge and we guarantee to purchase lots as cheaply as possible, allowing for other bids. Successful commission bidders will be notified by post immediately after the sale.
Full payment must then be sent to the Auctioneers by return of post.

Persons are reminded to handle all items with care. Any loss or damage will be payable at a cost to be decide by the Auctioneer, whose decision will be final. Please be careful.

Prospective buyers must satisfy themselves as to the suitability of lots before buying. Only in the event that an item should be found to be a deliberate forgery, could a transaction be rescinded. Once this is proven to the Auctioneers, then all money paid will be refunded, provided the item is returned within 7 days of sale in the condition it was sold.
