Terms and Conditions

1. The Seller(s), Cataloger, or Auctioneers, assume no liability for mis-description of any lot in this catalog. Although we believe the descriptions to be fair & accurate, they are our opinion, and the buyer is relying on their own inspection and not any representation made by the seller or seller's agent.   2. All lots are sold AS-IS with any and all faults. It is the responsibility of the buyer to personally inspect or obtain a condition report to determine condition.  Condition reports are given as a courtesy to clients & are only an opinion.  The title to the merchandise transfers at knock-down. 3. In case of a disputed bid, the Auctioneer will, at his discretion, determine the buyer, or re-open the lot for bidding.  If multiple absentee bids are placed for the same amount, the earlier bid takes priority, however because bids amounts are incremental, in some cases, a live floor bidder may win an auction with a bid that is equal to the absentee bid. The record of sale kept by the clerk at the auction house and the auctioneers will be final in all disputes.  4. All questions & condition report requests on items must be received within 15 hours of the start of the auction. 5. All purchases will be paid prior to shipping.  6. Internet bidders will receive an emailed invoice within 3 days of the end of the auction.  Payment can not be accepted before the sending of these invoices.  The invoice will include combined shipping for multiple purchases.  It will also have a link for customers wishing to use paypal.  Hassinger & Courtney handles the shipping of all items that can be sent USPS or UPS.  Buyer will pay actual packing & shipping costs.  The auctioneer assumes no liability on shipped goods.  For furniture or large items it will be the responsibility of the buyer or buyer's shipping agent to arrange pick up of their purchases.  7. Payment is due within 7 days of receiving the invoice and shall be made with Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, Pennsylvania Check, Money Order, or Bank Check. 8. A Buyer's Premium of 15% will be added to the purchase price of each item purchased. 9. Hassinger & Courtney Auctioneers will not be held responsible for the non-execution of bids. 10. All items are available for inspection at the set preview times & photographs of all items are available for your examination prior to bidding. Your bidding will signify that you have examined the items as fully as you desire to or that you have chosen not to examine them.  11.  All sizes listed are approximate.  12.  We can not confirm the completeness or state of operation of any clocks/watches.  13. Acceptance of the bidders registration form, or bidding on an item indicates your acceptance of these terms
