Thomaston Place Auction Gallery Buyers Terms & Conditions

Buyers must accept the following Terms & Conditions to participate in Thomaston Place Auction Gallery Live Auctions:

1.	Buyer’s Premium:  A 15% buyer’s premium shall be added to each purchase to reach a total sales price.

2.	Total Sales Price:  The total sales price of an item includes the Hammer Price added to the Buyer’s Premium and added to any applicable Sales Tax.

3.	Please contact Bob Grant at Thomaston Place Auction Galleries at (207) 354-8141 for shipping options and charges.  Shipping will be via UPS, Federal Express, USPS or other appropriate carrier. All insurance will be through the carrier used.  Thomaston Place Auction Galleries is not responsible for any shipper’s refusal to fully compensate you for any damages that may occur.   Please allow two weeks for shipping..

4.	Please register to bid several days in advance of the auction date when possible.

5.	We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Paypal, purchases paid by check will be held until check clears.

6.	Buyer shall communicate with Thomaston Place Auction Gallery within 3 business days following sale regarding payment.  Title passes to buyer upon successful payment.

7.	Please feel free to email us at auction@kajav.com with any questions you have about us, this auction, or any specific lot.

8.	All items in this auction are sold as is.  No expressed or implied warranty is given.  If your purchase is materially different from our description you must report it to us within 30 days of the auction date.  Thomaston Place Auction Gallery makes all efforts to properly describe and report items.

9. Thomaston Place Auction can not be held responsible for any eBay or internet bidding software errors.

You will receive a separate shipping quote and invoice via email.
The antiques and fine art items offered at Thomaston Place are rare and valuable. We therefore rely on professional shipping services to collect, pack and send purchased items to successful bidders. These shipping services primarily use UPS and DHL, but they will also use other carriers on a case-by-case basis. 
Within 7 days after the auction, successful bidders will receive a packing/shipping quote for their purchase developed by a professional shipping service. Thomaston Place Auction Galleries will communicate these quotes to buyers without any mark-up. Buyers' shipping payments should be directed to Thomaston Place Auction Galleries. 
All insurance will be through the carrier used. All shipments will be insured for full value unless the buyer specifically requests no coverage.
